- This is going to sound a little silly, but here goes; why not use the
- universally available (in all programs that support block marking with
- the mouse) method of block marking with the keyboard? By pressing the
- Alternate + Insert key (holding it down) and then the arrow keys you
- can mark a block. It is a little awkward at first, but it does have
- the advantage of working with every keyboard and every program
- currently available. (Is there a reason why this is a bad idea that
- I do not know about?)
